The measure stipulates that children born in US territory will not be recognized as citizens if their parents do not have US nationality or legal permanent residence. The executive order was signed by Trump on the first day of his second term. Since then, other court decisions have also prevented its implementation. There is still no date set for the Supreme Court’s final decision on the case.
