Historic underinvestment, vast needs, and a rapidly improving busi-ness environment, place Brazil at the forefront of global infrastructure opportunities. The Brazilian-American Chamber of Commerce in New York will hold a panel discussion updating the progress of the PPI (Investment Part-nership Program) in awarding public/pri-vate concessions and partnerships to meet the country’s needs. Delivering the keynote address will be Secretary for Public Policies of the PPI, Pedro Bruno Barros de Souza.

Joining Secretary Bruno will be Ale-xandre Pierantoni of Duff and Phelps, whose advisory work provides insights into investor considerations when analy-zing the opportunities presented by the Program. He will be joined by Tozzini Freire to discuss important regulatory and legal issues under Brazilian law associa-ted with the PPI and by Francesca Odell of Cleary Gottlieb who will highlight key cross border issues involved in structu-red transactions.
